Happy Spring everyone! Our first show of the 2015 season is next month and will be here before you know it! We will start out the season at Diamond 7 Ranch, are you ready? Some of our members were able to keep going over the Winter – brrr! My hat is off to Mary Stuart Smith, Tammy Murphy and Lauren Luthman for their triumphs in the FADS series! Truly, ladies this is quite an accomplishment, my horse and I curled up under our blankets and enjoyed hot chocolate and bran mash this Winter –we hibernated!! Congratulations ladies for your dedication, motivation and undoubtedly your choice in thermal underwear!!!!
Our ramp up to this show season began with the Janet Foy clinic in March. The clinic was attend by 20% of our membership! That is tremendous! Please see the Education Committee’s article in this edition. We had approximately ten folks attend our showing of the 2015 “On the Levels”, thank you very much for attending! Again, this is terrific participation! As I write this, our trip to Iron Spring Farm is quickly approaching and our season Kick-off Party – “Lilian’s Tea” is right around the corner and then it will be May! Whew! Time flies!
So my question is: Are ready? Have you set your 2015 goals? Next month’s newsletter will highlight the awards offered to both our IEO Members and Non-members. We have some surprises in store so stay in touch with the website and stay tuned for those Email blasts! The Board is working hard to bring you new events and services - we will advertise them on the website as soon as they are finalized!
Our next IEO Board Meeting will be held on Sunday, April 26th at Hoss’s Steakhouse in Mechanicsburg, please email me at [email protected] if you’d like to attend – we will be certain there is a chair for you!
