wonderful day as well. We return to a fan-favorite venue, Harmony Hill Farm! I know this will be a terrific day for everyone – I can’t wait!
A new award concept will be piloted at the June Show. We call it ‘Merit Awards’. These awards will be purely discretionary on the judge’s part. If the judge sees a quality in a ride or rider they wish to recognize, they will give the rider an IEO Buck as recognition for a job well-done. This is just one more way of recognizing a special effort, sportsmanship or quality in a competitive performance. The scribe will note such awards and we can publish the item in our newsletter – this will be a nice thing to try and will be included in our after-show survey.
If you haven’t joined our Facebook group, I sure hope you will do so! It is a great place to share ideas, news and many of you have even posted clinic information. Terrific! This is exactly what we we hoped would happen. Please feel free to post things that other members will find interesting. It’s a great way to stay connect during this busy season.
Your leadership team is busy making plans for the second half of 2015. We have chosen Allenberry as the location for our End of Year Awards Dinner. This event will be held on November 14th. Please save the date, we promise to make it a fun event! Get those silent auction donations lined up early.
Our upcoming schedule of Board meetings is as follows: June – no meeting; July Meeting will be held on July 26th at 3pm, at Baker’s Diner; August – no meeting; September Meeting will be held on September 27th, location to be announced. Hold on to our saddles folks - It’s already a great year!
