Whew! It’s been a hot summer so far and our show series has been heating up as well! Thank you all for your support and participation. We have a wonderful organization because of the combined efforts of our membership – give yourselves round of applause please!!!. As you read through this month’s newsletter and future E-Blasts, you will see some new services for our members. Many of the projects your leadership team envisioned in January are coming to fruition : Lesson Lottery, Scholarship Program, on-line shopping mall for spirit wear and some projects yet to come!
Thank you to those who responded to our recent survey monkey. We didn’t hear from everyone but a nice sized group. Please remember these surveys help us plan and move forward with prsojects. As we are an all volunteer Board and discretionary time is limited for all of us, we like to put our time and energy into projects that serve our membership best and get the most return for the time invested. That said, it would be great to hear from everyone - this is your opportunity to voice your opinion and move your favorite initiatives to the top of the list! This survey produced the following results: majority of responders were not interested in a group trip to Dressage at Devon; a third of the responders were interested in a Patrick King Clinic either auditing or riding; the majority of responses about the End of Year Awards Dinner either had no preference to start time or liked the idea of a 6:0pm start time – we will do our best to accommodate these votes!
Looking ahead to September, please put September 27th on your calendar! This is a Board and General membership meeting date. We named this meeting “Tailgate with Terry”!!! In honor football season, we will have a little get together and a saddle fitting demo/talk with Terry Peiper. Terry has graciously offered her farm as the venue for this event. Stay tuned for more details in a future newsletter and EBlast!!!
Our August Schooling Show is just a breath away – let’s get those entries in early so we can accommodate your needs as best as we can!!!! Do you have your volunteer time? If not, we need you! It’s gonna be a great year!!!
