Meet The 2025 Board
President
Kim Hanlin
A lifelong rider, Kim has been President of IEO
for the past two years. She enjoyed getting IEO set up for online entries and streamlining the running of the shows. Her chunky monkey pony, Fiona keeps her busy, and she is enjoying the process of bringing a young pony along. Outside of riding she runs a busy B&B and wedding venue.
Kim’s favorite part of IEO is working with all the members and being part of the community. We have a storied history which I am proud to be part of.
Vice President
Jill Darosh
An avid equestrian for over 30 years, Jill feels that the community being fostered in the central PA area is a delight to be involved with, and IEO is a pivotal part of it! For the past few years her main focus has been on Dressage with her Clydesdale cross, Amber, and Connemara pony, Squishy, as well as raising her two young boys, and running her family's businesses. Jill is eager to help further the educational opportunities available to our equestrian community, as well as support our newest riders with confidence building opportunities. With a professional background in business administration, training development, and both classroom and field instruction, it is her hope to utilize her skills in service to the IEO community. Jill’s technical skills have been invaluable as our show secretary as well as design/development of a brand new website. Jill was also instrumental in developing the new leadline tests and arena for our popular and growing leadline division this year.

Leadership Team
Tyra Weigers
I started riding when I was 5 yrs old. Began my career in hunters, then moved to some western gaming in junior high, then jumpers in my early 20's and started dabbling in dressage. In my 30's, I had a bad fall from a horse which resulted in me focusing solely on dressage.
My entire riding career has been bringing along various green horses; from local sale barns, Off the track or someone's back burner until this past Spring when I decided to lease an upper level dressage schoolmaster, who I recently purchased.
I currently own a 13 stall boarding facility in York Co, am very active in the local and regional horse communities at various degrees. I am currently working through my prerequisites to become a USEF/ USDF Technical Delegate.
Leadership Team
Ashley Parsells
My name is Ashley Parsells and I've been a board member for two years. I've been riding for the last 35 years and I've been a member of IEO for the last 7 years. With my OTTB Jax getting older I decided to retire him from jumping and play around with western riding and instantly fell in love with Western Dressage. Jax is now fully retired and you will see me competing my Standardbreds Rubber Ducky and Big Al at all of the shows. I'm responsible for all the flowers at each show and a lot of the decorating at the banquet. I'm your go to craft girl at IEO and I'm always around at any show to play horse show mom! I'm also very passionate about promoting the Standardbred breed and helping to educate others about the versatility of the breed.
Leadership Team
Megan DeManincor
As an avid horse enthusiast and dedicated dressage rider, I have been actively involved in the equestrian community most of my life. I have participated in numerous dressage events, shows, and clinics, always trying to improve my skills and contribute to the sport’s growth. I have been a member of IEO for several years and have witnessed the club’s positive growth and development. I am currently the Head Coach of the Friendship YMCA Swim Team, a successful program with swimmers from all levels from beginners to National Level Competitors. In addition to my riding experience, I have strong leadership and organizational skills having held similar positions in both my professional and equestrian life. I love to work with athletes of all levels to show them their full potential. My love for dressage, combined with my commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for riders of all levels, makes me eager to contribute to the future success of our club. I would love to help further promote the art and sport of dressage, support the educational opportunities for our members, and ensure our club continues to thrive for years to come.

Emily Weyl
My name is Emily Weyl. I have been riding for 30 years and have ridden in a multitude of disciplines (hunter, equitation, jumpers, dressage, western dressage, and working equitation). I currently ride my thoroughbred gelding, Ronin, in western dressage and am looking forward to advancing my skills with him. I have ridden with IEO for the past few seasons and love this welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I have shown since my early years and have helped run shows in other disciplines. On a personal note, I work for the Food and Drug Administration as a Food Process Engineer and have two children, ages 3 and 6, and a wonderful supportive husband who lets me continue my sport and passion.
Leadership Team
Tonda Lewis
As one of the 'older riders' and member of IEO, I have so appreciated the acceptance and camaraderie I've found in this club. I've been retired for a couple of years from a job I loved but keep very busy taking care of my 5 horses, 4 dogs and several cats on my farm that constantly needs mowing. I was formerly an active foster for my local animal shelter but lately just fundraising with selling my planters. I wish to continue to make IEO shows welcoming to all, whether seasoned professionals starting a youngster to a newbie trying their first ever show. Their experience should always be fun, educational, and maybe make a few new friends. Emphasis should always be placed on our appreciation, compassion and respect for our equines that carry us regardless of their breeding. I will vote to continue to promote educational opportunities for equine health and management, and our riding development. I love this saying even on tough days; “If you're lucky enough to have a horse, you're lucky enough.”
