IEO Member Jane Sage Joins the Century Club
IEO MEMBER TO JOIN ELITE CLUB HONORING SENIOR RIDERS AND HORSES
September 16, 2015 – Jane Sage of Aiken, SC, will be inducted into special group of senior dressage riders and horses on September 27th, 2015 at a horse show in Aiken. The ages of Jane and her horse, Keswick, or Toby, qualify them to become members of The Dressage Foundation's Century Club.
The Century Club recognizes dressage riders and horses whose combined ages total 100 years or more. Jane is 76 years old and Toby is 24 years old. In addition to having ages totaling 100 or more, horse and rider perform a dressage test of any level at a dressage show and are scored by a dressage judge. The Dressage Foundation provides a Century Club ribbon and wall plaque to each horse and rider team. Local dressage clubs, family and friends help to make the ride into a celebratory event.
The Century Club was formed at The Dressage Foundation in 1996, at the suggestion of noted dressage judge and instructor, Dr. Max Gahwyler. The intent was to encourage older dressage riders to remain active in the sport. Since that time, the Century Club has grown into a meaningful and popular endeavor and has over 200 members to-date.
IEO Partners With French Creek Dressage Association
We are pleased to announce a partnership between the French Creek Equestrian Association (FCEA) and the IEO. As neighboring GMOs, we will be “sharing” our schooling shows by waiving the non-member fees for our respective members.
FCEA will be hosting three schooling shows this year. More information can be found at: http://www.frenchcreekdressage.org. IEO members may participate in the three FCEA schooling shows for regular member fees. Members should note they are IEO members on entry form.
NUTRENA FEED LABEL REDEMPTION PROGRAM

Through this new program, we will be able to receive cash for all the Nutrena feed labels and proofs of purchase that we collect. The money generated by this program will be earmarked for the IEO Young Riders program, helping our younger members raise funds for clinics and activities. The program is as simple as cutting and collecting the proofs of purchase and feed tags from the Nutrena feed products listed below and the list includes dairy and pet foods as well as horse feeds. Please take a minute to check this list of Nutrena products and then save your proofs of purchase. And ask your friends to save their feed labels as well!
