Welcome!On behalf of the IEO Board of Directors and Leadership Team, welcome! The IEO is pleased to offer stress-free, friendly dressage schooling shows, offering classes from USDF Introductory level, USEF Training through 4th levels, FEI Prix St. George through Grand Prix, Musical Freestyles, the USEA Eventing tests, and USEF Western Dressage tests. We offer great judges, helpful volunteers and safe footing in a calm, horse and rider friendly atmosphere. If you are new to dressage or just horse shows in general, come on out and allow our volunteers to guide you through the process.
News - January 2023USDF Regional Schooling Show Awards - IEO is participating in these awards for 2023 as an added benefit to our membership. These awards are awards to Jr, AA, and Open/Professionals for Intro through Fourth level. Participants will need a USDF Horse ID -https://www.usdf.org/join/horse.asp and to be a current full member of IEO. You will need to nominate yourselves/horse for the season at a cost of $35 to the participant, notify IEO ( Tonda Lewis) you are planning to participate, as well as upload scores after each show. Tonda Lewis is managing these awards for us and will coordinate with USDF to corroborate your scores. More info on this program can be obtained here
TIP Awards - Current Thoroughbred owners are eligible for prizes at each show as well as year end awards through the Thoroughbred Incentive Program. You will need a TIP number and to notify us that you are planning to participate. TIP number must appear on each IEO entry and TIP Liaison Lisa Acey will handle submitting your scores for awards. More info on this program can be obtained here SIP Awards - IEO is also participating in the Standardbred Incentive Program. If you own or simply ride a standardbred you qualify to compete for an award. More details can be found here In addition, MMXX Standardbreds is sponsoring Year End Standardbred awards. Participants must be a member of IEO in good standing, participate in at least three shows with two different judges at the level at which they wish to be considered. Awards 1st through 6th place will be awards for qualified standardbred. Make sure to indicate Standardbred on your IEO entry form. See Ashley Parsells for more details. Awards to be announced at year end banquet. The Highland Pony Enthusiasts Club of America is sponsoring a Jr/pony and AA/pony high point year end award. Ponies must have a card or a height measurement from vet within last year and participants must be a member of IEO in good standing. Participants must show in at least three shows under two different judges. Awards will be announced at the year end banquet. Additional Awards for 2023 sponsored by IEO Top Volunteer Award- Awarded to IEO ( non board member) with most hours serving the IEO through volunteer work either at the shows or behind the scenes at clinics/ fund raising etc. Fountain of Youth Awards- Two awards – to our youngest horse/rider combo and oldest horse/rider combo to be awarded at the Banquet. Participants must be members in good standing and have shown in at least one show during the current season. Would you like to sponsor a year end award and recognize a level or breed? More info on sponsoring can be found on our website. Thoroughbred and Standardbred Incentive ProgramsIf you have a Standardbred or Thoroughbred, you can compete in the breed Incentive Programs.
For the Thoroughbred Incentive Program, IEO will be offering awards at each show for High Score Dressage, High Point Dressage and High Point Western Dressage, and year-end awards for each division. You can find more information about the Throroughbred Incentive Program here. Thanks to Lisa Acey for spearheading this effort. For the Standardbred Incentive Program, riders submit results to accumulate points for year-end awards. All IEO shows are eligible for this program. For more information on how to enroll please click here. If you have specific questions about SIP please contact Ashley Parsells. In addtion, MMXX Standardbreds has generously sponsored neck sashes for 1st through 6h place for Standardbreds that qualify for IEO year-end awards. The participant must compete in at least 3 IEO schooling shows at the level at which they wish to be considered for a year-end award. The 3 highest scores, the highest from each show, will be averaged. Scores must be from at least 3 different shows. Be sure to indicate “Standardbred” and add your horses freezebrand on your entry form in order to qualify. We Have a Show Photographer!Madison Markley is the photographer at the IEO shows this year. The fee to unlock your show photos can be paid through PayPal on her website. If you want to find her at the show to pay that's also fine. Send her a message if you have any questions!
