2017 Show Season News
On behalf of the IEO Board of Directors and Leadership Team, welcome to the 2017 competition year!
The IEO is excited to offer eight schooling shows for 2017. These shows span October of 2016 through and including October 22, 2017. Our schooling shows offer dressage classes from USDF Introductory level, USEF Training through 4th levels, FEI Prix St. George through Grand Prix, Musical Freestyles, the USEA Eventing tests, and USEF Western Dressage tests. Our shows are stress-free and friendly. We offer great judges, helpful volunteers and safe footing in a calm, horse and rider friendly atmosphere. If you are new to dressage or just horse shows in general, come on out and allow our volunteers to guide you through the process.

It's Time to Form a Team for 2017
The Team competition open to all IEO show participants (youth, adult amateurs and professionals), members or non-members, and all breeds of horses who are interested in competing as a team. Each team (two to four riders) compete in their choice of IEO shows and classes. Truly, this is an experience for all to come together and work on bettering their horsemanship and horses while having fun.
Who can be on a team? IEO team competition is ideal for anyone interested in team camaraderie, including …. * * pro/open riders
* Youth and Amateur riders
* Pony riders
* Pony Clubbers
* Members or non-members
* Event riders, traditional dressage riders, or western dressage riders
Competition runs from May through September for the current year. Teams may be comprised of 2 – 4 riders, and may be a mix of youth, adult amateurs and professionals. Limit of one professional member per team. Youth and adults will compete together on teams (no separate divisions). If there are two or more all youth teams, we will separate those out for separate Youth team only awards. Riders may compete at any level any class, not to include suitability. Team members must maintain the same horse/rider combination for the year.
Team declarations must be submitted before scores are eligible. Scores cannot be retroactive. Any scores earned before declaration do not count. Team members must submit at least 4 scores earned at the IEO shows for the current year. Team members do not have to compete at the same shows together. The highest 4 scores for each member are used, scores must be from a minimum of two different judges, no more than two tests per judge.
Team declaration fee is $10.00 per horse/rider combination. You may be on multiple teams. Maximum of two riders sharing the same horse on any team. Use the new Team Entry Form to declare your team.
