Judge's Bios |
| Trisha DeRosa |
Trisha is originally from NorthEast Ohio and has been living in Maryland for about 12 years now. She is a former Pony Club District Commissioner and Event rider, and she actively competes at 3rd level with her Appaloosa, Wolfie.
They have earned the Appaloosa Horse Club Dressage Master and Lifetime Achievement awards. She particularly enjoys riding freestyles and the pas de deux and has earned several freestyle championships. She recently attended the first USDF Continuing Education Program for Judges. She is also the USDF Region 1 Competitor Council Representative for recognized competition.
Trisha says, "I really enjoy judging and passing on my enthusiasm for dressage to schooling show competitors. " |
| |
| Sarah Duclos |
Sarah has successfully competed to Intermediare I on a horse that she trained herself. Her recent horse was 5th in the Nation for Half Arabians as Third level last year and was also competitive at 4th level. Prior to becoming addicted to dressage she was a competitive event rider and competed to the Preliminary level. In her words, "I think that the fact that I have been a school teacher for the last 13 years makes me a good candidate for judging schooling shows. I believe in finding the good in all rides while also offering constructive comments that will help the horse and rider improve." |
